Hi.all !

I add this post here because it is about the general organization I set up for the TLALOC project.

As source hut wants to banish LLM sustained work, I created the github Team-Ada-83-TLALOC under which are 4 repositories :

> Team-Ada-83-TLALOC has 4 repositories available. Follow their code on GitHub.

The repositories are :

* * *

**1) The Ada 83 compiler repository**

**2) The minimal Windows version of the compiler**

**3) The TX\_RUN experimental interpreter/profiler of the TLALOC LLIR**

A program which executes and profiles TX and HX custom executable formats designed for research studies.

- TX format is a simple but large implementation of the LLIR (the same as the one of codis for x86, arm or risc-v.
- HX format is a very compact stack machine binary coding whose specification LLIR\_hardware\_support is the study basis of the TAHX processor.

**4) TAHX processor**

This is the study of an original OoO stack machine hardware executor of the TLALOC LLIR. It combines several aspects of Burroughs, Forth, Pico-Java, superscalar processors in an Ada 83 dedicated LLIR executor. It is an interesting and little known research subject. Modern processors are mainly register machines. High performance stack machines are a rarity.

**The conduct line of all this**

Those 4 sections form the "Ada 83 freedom trust chain from compiler to hardware execution on a real innovative bare metal target. Really bare metal, no background software, no backdoor, fully auditable from Ada 83 source code to transistor RTL.

The specification of the TAHX processor is in the repository #4 in the

This should be of interest to hardware inclined people.

A vhdl specification of TAHX is under construction.

TAHX should also be of interest for people interested in Ada machines, or low level support of Ada language. The LLIR is probably general enough to be applicable to later Ada revisions, though my personal interest is Ada 83 proper.
