# Alire github token scope

Alire 2.1.1 when attempting to alr publish today came back with saying workflow scope is needed but the docs say just public repo access permission is needed.

On another note is there anything to be aware of with regard to alire when transferring a repo from one github account to a company account where the original account still has publishing access?

Strange, my pull request regarding this was merged long time ago…
