Whilst I quite like being able to set param threshold. I would probably be happier with just using what someone decides is best for everyone. Saving everyone time in considering the settings and matching github formatting.
That is what Go decided. Though I have a hunch that the main reason is that they just like to avoid as much complexity as possible. With some good and bad results.
