Ada Monthly Meetup, 7th of March 2026

Hello everybody!

I would like to announce the March (2026) Ada Monthly Meetup which will be taking place on the 7th of March at 14:00 UTC time (15:00 CEST). As always the meetup will take place over at Jitsi. The Meetup will also be livestreamed/recorded to Youtube.

If someone would like to propose a talk or a topic, feel free to do so! We currently have no proposals.

Here are the connection details from previous posts:
The meetup will take place over at Jitsi, a conferencing software that runs on any modern browser. The link is Jitsi Meet The room name is “AdaMonthlyMeetup” and in case it asks for a password, it will be set to “AdaRules”.
I do not want to set up a password, but in case it is needed, it will be the one above without the quotes. The room name is generally not needed as the link should take you directly there, but I want to write it down just in case someone needs it.

Feel free to repost this in other forums or chats, such as Reddit or send it to friends!! >:D

Best regards and see you soon!

Ho no! I am far far away from a computer this week-end

Due to personal issues, I fell behind on Aclida project, that I would like to officialy introduce here.
I will present it next time.

No worries! Next time

But also, I will most likely not be able to organise the April or May ones as it is holidays here in Madrid/Spain and I will have to do other things… And June is already AEiC, sooo…

For April and May, would moving away from the first Saturday afternoon help?

I would have loved to show off my progress on the “ada on Casio fx-cg50” project but due to exams I won’t be able to participate :face_with_diagonal_mouth:

I’ll look at the YouTube stream once I have the time tho!

The meeting just ended! Here are the minutes of the meeting:

  • Reminders and announcements:
  • Maxim (@Max) presented his work on MAVlink and updating it from V1 to V2. Personally I loved the presentation and the solutions proposed for the problems that the update required.
  • Aldo Bruno (present in telegram) showcased his private work creating a GUI system for Ada. He has been working on it alone for a long time and for a personal project. The work presented is amazing and allows the creation of GUIs using XML/HTML with complete CSS styling, all running on top of SDL3!! The work was amazing and very nicely done! He hopes to be able to publish something about it in the future, so we hope to see more about the project!

Best regards,
