- Google Summer of Code announced the participating institutions and the signups for individual participation should be opening soon. There are a few project ideas that could accept Ada contributions! Google Summer of Code timeline for 2026 has been published - #5 by Irvise
- The 3rd Ada Developers Workshop has been announced and the Call for Presentations has been made! Please, submit you ideas/topics/etc if you can! 3rd Ada Developers Workshop - 12th of June, Västerås - Call for Submissions
- The Ada User Awards have been announced! Ada User Awards announcement!
- Some indications about proposing an idea are listed here Basic indications and requirements for proposals
- We already have two project ideas looking for funding: Ada on the Casio fx-CG50 and Add Ada support for Zephyr RTOS
- Maxim (@Max) presented his work on MAVlink and updating it from V1 to V2. Personally I loved the presentation and the solutions proposed for the problems that the update required.
- Aldo Bruno (present in telegram) showcased his private work creating a GUI system for Ada. He has been working on it alone for a long time and for a personal project. The work presented is amazing and allows the creation of GUIs using XML/HTML with complete CSS styling, all running on top of SDL3!! The work was amazing and very nicely done! He hopes to be able to publish something about it in the future, so we hope to see more about the project!
