Hi, I do not really have a paper but have an open source Ada/SPARK project I hope I can present on. Is the Ada Europe conference the right channel or would presenting at the FOSDEM Ada devroom (if we manage to secure it) be better? I do not really have a research paper per se (if I am understanding “paper” in this context correctly?).

Would be interested but could use some clarification.

As in previous editions of the conference, we plan to have a developers workshop, which would be a great place to present projects.

(For context, here is last year’s workshop: https://www.ada-europe.org/conference2026/workshop_adadev.html)

Thanks for the link, will look into it

Is there any specific format I should follow when submitting a workshop proposal?

Just a heads up @cunger and @DirkCraeynest, but I will have a wedding the next day (saturday) outside of Europe, so lets see how we can handle that… Luckily it seems that Berlin has direct flights to my destination, but it is going to be rough and challenging for me to organise everything and pack all things… I will keep you updated.

Best regards,
Fer

Both the FOSDEM Ada Developers Room or the Ada Developers Workshop at the Ada-Europe conference (as Christina Unger suggested) would be suitable places to present your project.

But no need to rush: on the one hand, our proposal for an Ada DevRoom at FOSDEM 2027 has been submitted, but the decision about acceptance is only expected on 20 October; on the other hand, we haven’t submitted our proposal for a 4th Ada Developers Workshop at AEiC 2027 yet, but plan to do that in the near future.

For both events, if/when accepted, we will publish a call for presentations for the resp. event shortly afterwards. Stay tuned…

Thanks , this means I should have ample time to draft on what I want to present as well as improving my code before then. Looking forward to the updates.
