Alire on Apple-Silicon

Over on hpmuseum.org a user has problems with using Alire on Apple-Silicone. Could anybody with access to Apple Silicone get and build hp41cx_tools and tell me what the result is and if you had to do anything special. Thanks.

It seems that the continues integration system is using Alire 3.0.0 and that seem to work.

Installed alr version and GNAT toolchain:
/Users/runner/work/alire-index/alire-index/alire_install/bin/alr -n version
APPLICATION
alr version: 3.0.0-dev
libalire version: 3.0.0-dev

When will 3.0.0 be released?

Martin.

Silicone is that which is used mostly for breast augmentation:-)

Silicon is the element:-)

@krischik, I was able to compile hp41cx_tools on a Mac, Apple M4 Pro and with Alire 2.1.0. I could run your tool with --help at least.

I’m using the toolchain provided by Alire, gnat_native=15.1.2 and gprbuild=25.0.1.

They should run alr with -v to know more about the error.

Thanks. They might try to much by manually installing the toolchain.
