I updated Gnatstudio from 26w to 2026.2 on my windows 11 system. Installing went correct. when running the name shield appeared correct till the sign “Loading Python plug-ins …” appeared. The program stopped at that moment. I tried running again, installing again deleting all mentioning of gnatstudio on the computer the error was the same again. Also trying to reinstall the older version did not help. I even did restart the computer with updating the software. Error same again. What nust I do to

2026.2 has a massive bug which causes it to start dozens of processes at the start and also when you click the right button. Depending on the machine it could be a minute or more.
If you are OK with losing “go to definition” and other analytical stuff, then it is tolerable. Otherwise, go to the previous version.
2026.2 fixed the issue of disappearing cursor. But it is still unable to restore the window position. Maximized window has wrong size (probably a GTK issue). The layout changes still have no confirmation pop-up and no undo/redo, so a jerky mouse movement can accidentally ruin it.
