How to uninstall alire on Windows

My Windows laptop ran out of power midway through the installation of msys2 on an alr build. Not sure what this has to do with alr but now alr doesn’t funciton properly. What I’d like to do is uninstall alrire and reinstall from scratch

  • Both alire and msys2 do not show up on either Programs and Features or the old appwiz.cpl
  • There is no uninstall option anywhere that I can see on the system menu.

How do I uninstall alire?

Go to the alire directory and run the maintenancetool. It will uninstall.

Note that alire and gnat community seem to be written for a single user. They can be installed somewhere that is accessible to everyone using the machine but only the user whom it is installed as can see the menus.
