Study materials/youtube videos

There’s no much study materials for ada programming language, i love the youtube videos lectures but i can’t find none… those i found are way too outdated!

Hi, are you referring to the AdaCore U Videos (https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLkoa8uxigENkneyEEeDWVPgpMhPc9IJ7o&feature=shared). Granted they are from 6 yrs ago, but for learning as a beginner, they seem sufficient and still relevant.

Have you also tried learn.adacore.com ?

Do you have any specific topics you’d like to see addressed, or a specific tutorial format or examples you’d like more study materials based on?

Outsider’s Guide is a general overview of the language.

I’ve been meaning to write some more for ada-lang.io, it has some condensed guides like the cheat sheet, but I keep getting setbacks since work and family come first.

If you don’t mind paying, this one on Udemy is recent.

But take a look at the reviews first, I’d say it is below the average quality on this platform.

As a recommendation, I wouldn’t pay much attention to the age of the resource, but to the quality. A programming language is not changing so often, and more standard Ada, which has a long period between ISO releases, and compatibility is strongly kept.

Buy udemy courses when on sale, which is all the time.

There is another one by Jean that covers fixed types but a quick search didn’t show it up.

You probably mean “The Ada Numerics Model”, another Ada DevRoom presentation by Jean-Pierre Rosen at a recent FOSDEM?
