Hi all,

just for your information, the GSoC 2026 organisations have been announced Google Summer of Code. There are 185 of them. Take a look at them in case you would like to propose Ada activities within those organisations! Also, if you would like to participate as a student, the registration will open in about a month!

EDIT: some interesting projects could beā€¦

  • NetBSD/FreeBSD/GCC: upstream all the Ada/GNAT patches to GCC in order to support NetBSD/FreeBSD/OpenBSD/Solaris
  • RTMES (The RTEMS GSoC Projects Website): update the Ada infraestructure so that everything works seamlessly with the new build system.
  • GCC: Ada 2022 support (last year, work on the parallel feature was funded)
  • Linux Foundatio (LF) Google Summer of Code there are many subprojects where Ada could see some adoption or initial implementations
